Bo Nix threw a touchdown pass as the Denver Broncos extended their winning streak to seven games, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 10–7 on Thursday.
The hard-fought victory, dominated by defense, pushed Denver to an NFL-best record of 8–2 and strengthened their AFC West lead over the Los Angeles Chargers (6–3). It marked the Broncos' longest winning streak since 2015.
Denver’s defense shined with six sacks and an interception, lifting the team to a 5–0 home record and a 10th consecutive win at Mile High Stadium. The Broncos and Indianapolis are the only franchises still unbeaten at home this season.
“We have a really good defense and they showed up again tonight,” Nix said. “We didn't give them the best of fields at times but they still made plays and kept them out of field goal range.”
“They keep winning games for us and getting us the ball back, and at some point we have to return the favor.”
The Broncos return to action on November 16, hosting division rival Kansas City (5–4) after a scheduled bye week.
“We've got a lot of work to do,” Nix said. “But we're winning and that's all that matters.”
Las Vegas struck first with Ashton Jeanty’s four-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter, but Denver’s defense locked down afterward to secure the win.
Author’s Summary: Denver’s defense powered their seventh straight victory and an NFL-best 8–2 record, cementing their dominance at home and atop the AFC West.
