Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith suffered an injury during the fourth quarter of the Week 10 game against the Denver Broncos. The exact nature of the injury appears to involve his knee or ankle, but no official confirmation has been made.
Smith was hurt while attempting to scramble. He tried to continue playing but was clearly in pain and eventually left the field. He was seen hobbling and later tested his leg on the sideline, showing signs he might return to the game.
While Smith is sidelined, backup quarterback Kenny Pickett took over to lead the Raiders offense.
"Smith tried to get up after the play, but it was clear he was in a lot of pain and he went back down on the field as trainers rushed out to tend to him."
Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
