On Friday, November 7th, a dump truck struck a utility pole, causing it to fall. This accident also brought down additional poles, as well as primary and secondary power lines and transformers in the vicinity.
Power Restoration Efforts
- Initially, about 30 homes lost power.
- By 1 PM, power had been restored to approximately 10 homes.
- Idaho Falls Power estimated full restoration would take 10 to 12 hours from the outage's start.
