It reflects an individual’s dedication to their community and country through actions like obeying laws, respecting fellow citizens, and maintaining public spaces for the greater good.
The man shared photos on X showing himself taking down a poster from a pillar on Mumbai Metro’s Line 2B.
“Guess who decided to take things in his own hands? Some idiot decided to paste his biz ad on the Mumbai Metro Line 2B’s pillar. Can’t spoil the aesthetics na."
He also mentioned his intent to remove political banners from Mumbai’s walls, stating, “Not happening on our watch, or yours!”
The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) commended the resident’s initiative on social media.
“Ad wars on Metro pillars? Big shoutout to citizen hero, Karthik Nadar, for peeling off what didn’t belong."
One citizen’s initiative to remove illegal posters earned public praise and highlighted the importance of civic responsibility in maintaining urban aesthetics.
