This home-grown wonderkid has been locked down by the Jets for another two seasons

The 18-year-old Will Dobson is among the most promising talents in the A-League. Newcastle Jets have secured this local prospect with a contract extension until the end of the 2027-28 season.

Rapid rise and contract upgrade

Dobson made his A-League debut just over a year ago but impressed Jets coach Mark Milligan enough to earn a contract upgrade. Initially signed to a two-year scholarship deal at the start of the previous season, Dobson was elevated to a full A-League contract with two additional years added.
