The intense six-day Final Stage of the DP World Tour Qualifying School is underway at INFINITUM in Spain, testing players' endurance and skill.
After competing in 14 tournaments across 13 venues in seven countries during the first two stages, players now face the final challenge. Starting Friday, each golfer plays two rounds on INFINITUM’s Lakes and Hills courses. A 72-hole cut occurs after Monday’s play, determining who advances.
The remaining players then compete in the last two rounds on the Lakes course Tuesday and Wednesday to decide who qualifies for the DP World Tour.
INFINITUM, previously known as Lumine until its 2021 rebranding, has hosted the Final Stage since 2017. Due to the Covid pandemic, the Qualifying School was not held in 2020 or 2021, making 2025 the seventh time the Costa Daurada resort serves as the base.
The Final Stage takes place on INFINITUM’s two 18-hole courses: Lakes and Hills. The resort features a total of 45 holes.
Since last year, the Hills course’s back nine has been extensively renovated. European Golf Design led the project, delivering significant changes.
The 18th hole on the Hills course has been fully redesigned into a striking par-four featuring an island-green-style approach inside a natural quarry.
This dramatic redesign elevates the challenge and appeal of the course for competitors.
Author's summary: The 2025 DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage at INFINITUM offers a rigorous, multi-round test on newly renovated courses, marking its seventh hosting at this renowned Spanish resort.
