Renell Robert, born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana to Dorothy and Lester, was deeply connected to his Louisiana roots. Loved for his devotion to fishing, hunting, family gatherings, and Tulane football, Renell's passion for life and family was evident.
After graduating from Gonzales High School, Renell proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. A decorated Vietnam veteran, he later attended Southeastern Louisiana University and built a career working alongside his brothers at Ciba Geigy/Syngenta for over 30 years.
Known as the “Fix-It” man, Renell took pride in restoring and beautifying things. His hobbies included tending to his yard, planting flowers, and cherishing his marriage to Lillie, with whom he shared 13 years of love. His daughters, Robyn and Rebecca, were the joy of his life, and his face would light up with pride whenever he spoke of them.
Renell was the older brother to Phyllis, Dale, Faryl, Rickey, Kirk, and Keeley, bringing vibrancy to the Robert household. His grandchildren—Sophia, Gavin, Cohen, Colin, Connor, Kaylee, Brady, Chloe, Max, and Bellamie—were the center of his heart.
