Ongoing major infrastructure changes under a Development Control Order, causing lane and road closures until completion in May 2026.

Dark fibre installation at the junction with George Street. Road closed from 28 November to 1 December, and again on 8 December.
Hessle Road
Routine inspection of Hessle Road flyover with eastbound road closure between 11pm and 6am on 29-30 November.
Holderness Road
Emergency water main repair causing lane closure near number 800, ongoing until 5 December.
Humber Dock Street
Public realm works with road closure between Blanket Row and Humber Street junctions lasting until April 2026.
Kesteven Way
Mini roundabout resurfacing with southbound road closure from 9:30am to 3:30pm on 8-10 December.
Leads Road
Telecoms maintenance near Midmere Avenue with multi-way signals operating between 10pm and 6am on 28-29 November.
Lowgate
Southbound road closure for trial hole surveys related to the District Heat scheme from 1 to 10 December, operating 9:30am to 3:30pm.
Princes Dock Street
Works as part of Hull Public Realm development scheme with road closures continuing until April 2026.
