The Holy Cross Indians have achieved a milestone, winning their first-ever district championship in football with a perfect 9-0 record.

Indeed, the small parochial school from Latonia did win a state football championship, but in a year when the Indians were not district champions, only earning their state title – and a regional crown – with a postseason-ending rush.
The Indians secured! their ninth straight win, going 3-0 in the district with a 43-6 victory over the Ludlow Panthers at Rigney Stadium.
The game saw a 36-0 first-half edge, resulting in a running clock for the second half.
