Journalists' Struggle for Environmental Coverage

Thirty journalists embody the struggle for freely reported environmental coverage, from Cambodia to the Amazon, and from France to Egypt.

These journalists, covering stories related to natural resources, often face obstruction, threats, arrest, attack, or even jail or death.

Our goal: to leave no breach of freedom of information unreported.

In light of COP30, beginning on 10 November in Belém, Brazil, RSF calls on governments to ensure the defence of reliable reporting and its actors is a key component of the fight against climate change.
