E-commerce giant Temu has agreed to work with the greeting card industry to speed up the removal of designs that infringe intellectual property (IP) rights.
Following advocacy from the Greeting Card Association (GCA), Temu is introducing new software to bulk-identify and remove plagiarised designs from its platform.
Amanda Fergusson, the GCA's CEO, noted that members have had to invest time to protect their IP, in addition to the financial impact.
