Armagh Couple Left Devastated After Cat Suffers Horrific Injuries
An Armagh couple is devastated after their pet cat, Eddie, suffered severe injuries when a firework was tied to its tail.
The incident occurred in the Banbrook Hill area of Armagh on October 17. Eddie's owner believes it was a deliberate act of cruelty.
Eddie returned home, cowering, before bolting when its owners tried to check on it. When it finally returned almost a week later, its owner found its tail had been severely scorched.
The injuries were so severe that Eddie had flayed its own tail, exposing bone and remnants of skin.
A firework had been tied to Eddie’s tail before it exploded.
