Electronics Projects Worth Rs 5,532 Crore Cleared
The electronics components manufacturing scheme has received a boost with seven projects worth Rs 5,532 crore being cleared.
The approved projects include four from Kaynes Group, one from Syrma Group, one from Ascent Circuits of Amber Group, and one from SRF.
- Collective employment generation: 5,195 people
Approved projects will cater to a significant share of domestic demand — 27% for PCBs, 15% for camera modules, and full self-reliance for copper laminates and polypropylene films, said Electronics and IT Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw.
