UVM Men's Rugby Team Takes Campus by Storm
Matthew Tevnan and Harry Missing, two seniors on the UVM men's rugby team, have become a familiar sight on campus, riding a tandem bike to class, rugby practice, and other locations.
"Never tandem alone"
The idea for the tandem bike was born when the two friends were sitting at their dining room table, brainstorming ways to make their daily commute more exciting. They found the bike on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace after "hounding people for a bike."

- Occasionally ride to off-campus locations like the YMCA
Missing and Tevnan have a consistent position on the bike, with Missing always in the front and Tevnan in the back. According to Tevnan,
"It takes a real mastermind to be in the back, so I don’t really want to put it in his hands".
