Essential safety maintenance works have commenced on the A28 Armagh to Newry Road between Armagh and Markethill.
The works, announced by Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins on October 22, will cost £100,000 and are scheduled to last until the end of the week.
The works will be carried out between 9:30am and 4:30pm from Monday, October 27 until Friday, October 31, 2025, during the school half-term break when traffic volumes are lower.
A daytime road closure will be implemented between 9:30am and 4:30pm to ensure the works are carried out safely.
