Scott Woods, a renowned Canadian fiddler, prefers to keep his music separate from politics, especially when touring and visiting the U.S.
During a recent phone interview with The Sault Star, Woods shared a story about his attempt to recruit former musical collaborators, Gary and Nadine Boles, for his upcoming Christmas tour.

Woods had told the couple that vocalist Naomi Bristow was unavailable due to recent childbirth, and their talents would be appreciated on the tour. However, the Boles did not take Woods' request seriously at first.
