Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, has been permitted to wear street clothes during his trial by Judge Tony Graf.

However, Robinson must be physically restrained during the proceedings. The decision was made during a virtual court hearing on Monday.

Charlie Kirk, a right-wing political activist, was assassinated during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in September. Robinson surrendered to police after a 33-hour manhunt.

Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. Utah County attorney Jeff Gray has stated that they will seek the death penalty in this case.
