When a Huffington Post reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about the choice of Budapest as the site for a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, she responded with an insult:
“Your mom did.”
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung echoed Leavitt's response, saying:
“Your mom.”
