Mike Brown is quickly realizing what Knicks fans already knew: the team has a problem with Josh Hart that's difficult to fix.
Despite the New York Knicks' struggles, head coach Mike Brown is being praised for the changes he's trying to implement. However, he's also figuring out that some issues, or rather, certain players, are unchangeable - like Josh Hart.
The latest reality check came during the Knicks' loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, where Hart played over 26 minutes and was a team-worst minus-19. He continued his poor performance from the floor, shooting under 43% on twos and 11.1% from long range.
- Through three appearances, Hart is shooting 3-of-7 on twos and 1-of-9 from long range.
- His rim pressure is also down, with only six of his 18 total shots coming from the restricted area this year.
Mike Brown is largely being lauded for the changes he’s attempting to implement, but he’s also quickly figuring out there are certain issues he cannot change.
