Elimination of Russian Serviceman Involved in War Crimes
A car explosion in Russia's Kemerovo region resulted in the death of Veniamin Mazzherin, a lieutenant colonel involved in war crimes in Kyivshchyna.
Mazzherin, born in 1980, served in the special OMON "Obereg" unit of the Rosgvardia Directorate. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the "Obereg" unit is one of those responsible for war crimes committed in February-March 2022 during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
