Alloa Man Jailed for Torturing and Killing Kitten
Lewis Aitken, a 21-year-old man from Alloa, has been sentenced to four years in prison for torturing a kitten to death.
Aitken was also given a lifetime ban on keeping animals and a non-harassment order, prohibiting him from contacting his ex-partner for 10 years.
Given your appalling conduct, I see no valid reason why you should ever have access to another animal.
- Aitken's abuse began when his partner became a mother, and included physical and emotional harm.
- He blackened her eye, headbutted her, and repeatedly punched her in the face and body, as well as spat on her.
A sheriff described Aitken's actions as the most atrocious act of animal cruelty he had seen in 30 years in the criminal courts.
