The Sixers' Undefeated Start
The Sixers appeared to finally run out of energy, but Adem Bona's presence changed the course of the game.
With the team looking gassed on the second night of a back-to-back, they struggled to keep up with the Washington Wizards, who were led by Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George and shooting near 60% from the field.
Joel Embiid was the lone bright spot for the Sixers, leading the team with 25 points, but he had reached his minutes restriction and was done for the night with seven minutes remaining and the team trailing by nine.
It looked like the Sixers’ would lose their first game of the season, but Adem Bona refused to let that happen.
