Bruce County Museum Marks Remembrance Day
Historian and author Ted Barris will mark Remembrance Day at Bruce County Museum on Nov. 8 to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
To commemorate this occasion, Barris will explore the significant contributions of Canadian airmen during the Battle of Britain in the Second World War.
- Canadian flyers helped defend England during 113 harrowing days in 1940.
- Canadians served in forty-seven squadrons.
- Twenty pilots were lost in action.
