A Grateful Town Remembers Jenny Emery
More than 300 people attended a tribute to Jenny Emery's family on October 13 at Holcomb Farm, despite nor'easter winds and rain.
They came from various places, including extended family, childhood friends, and professional colleagues, to pay their respects to her husband Dave and children Nina, Ellie, and Bob.
A line of town and Holcomb Farm vehicles stood outside as a silent tribute to Jenny, whose community service was transformative.
Jenny, 66, was full of life and had been running a campaign for reelection to the board of finance, as well as leading an effort to transform the old West Granby Methodist Church.
Her service to her community was transformative.
