The world of fragrance has never stopped celebrating the French capital, with both historic houses and new brands presenting their own olfactory interpretations of a city synonymous with style, freedom, and refinement.
On a Thursday evening in September, a boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris's 1st arrondissement was abuzz with excitement as the crowd gathered to celebrate the launch of a new fragrance brand, Solférino.
Solférino was created by Philippe Benacin, co-founder of Interparfums, which develops and distributes fragrances for notable brands such as Nina Ricci, Lacoste, and Karl Lagerfeld, marking the group's first in-house creation.
"I wanted to rekindle the link between high perfumery and the Parisian imagination,"
the entrepreneur said of this personal collection.
