A major part of MTN's sustainability strategy involves integrating solar energy across its operations. The company has launched a solar project at its data centers and infrastructure sites to reduce reliance on the national electricity grid.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to reduce carbon emissions, optimize energy efficiency, and promote the use of renewable energy sources in Ghana's telecom industry.
