Election Day 2025 Live Updates
Voters in the Bronx are heading out to cast their ballots in the 2025 NYC mayoral election.
The candidates for mayor include Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa.
In addition to the mayoral election, New Yorkers will also vote in local elections for Borough President, City Comptroller, Public Advocate, and City Council members.
There are also six ballot questions, with three related to the creation of affordable housing.
A closely watched race is the East Bronx District 13 council race, where Republican incumbent Kristy Marmorato faces a challenge from Democrat Shirley Aldobol.
The two candidates recently debated on BronxNet, discussing topics such as President Donald Trump, public safety, and local development projects.
