Greenwood Village Approves Residential Project
A 13-acre lot in Greenwood Village, which has been empty for over 20 years, will finally be developed into a residential project.
“This piece of dirt has been there for 20-plus years, and I view it as a blight on the city,”
said Greenwood Village Councilman Paul Wiesner. The lot, located at 5555 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, will feature 90 single-family homes, creating a new gated community just west of Interstate 25.

“Which I’m not so sure anybody ever expected in the history of this parcel,”
said Todd Baker, an executive with Century Communities. The project has been approved by the Greenwood Village City Council with a vote of 8-0.
