Some European drug gangs have resorted to burying cocaine instead of selling it due to plummeting wholesale prices across the continent.
In December, Spanish authorities discovered two shipping containers buried underground at a farm in Coria del Río, containing seven metric tons of cocaine valued at approximately 420 million euros.
The cocaine bricks were marked with unusual symbols, including a devil emoji playing the guitar.
This phenomenon is part of a larger trend affecting Europe's cocaine supply in 2025, with smugglers attempting to manipulate the market.
