2025's Biggest Supermoon Rises
The Full Beaver Moon, the biggest and brightest November Full Moon in nearly nine years, will shine in the sky on Tuesday night.
Eyes to the sky on Tuesday night to see 2025's Perigee Supermoon brighten up the November sky. The Sun, Earth, and Moon will align in syzygy overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, November 4-5, with the Earth-facing side of the Moon fully illuminated by the Sun.
This Full Moon is the closest and largest of all 12 Full Moons in 2025 and will be roughly 30 per cent brighter than the smallest and most distant Full Moon of the year.
The November 2025 Perigee Supermoon is significantly larger than the April Apogee Micromoon, due to being roughly 50,000 kilometres closer to Earth.
