Details of the Recall

First and Last Bakery, LLC, has withdrawn the following 26-ounce jars of pasta sauce from the market:

According to reports, these sauces were distributed between Connecticut and Massachusetts, mainly through Big Y stores, starting from 22 September 2025. All affected products carry a use-by date of 26 September 2025.

Health Warning and Consumer Action

Although no cases of illness have yet been recorded, health authorities emphasize that botulism can be fatal. Consumers who purchased these sauces are advised not to consume them and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
