Canon has expanded its mirrorless lineup with the release of the EOS R6 Mark III and the compact RF 45mm F1.2 STM lens. The new full-frame hybrid camera bridges the gap between the EOS R5 and EOS R6 Mark II, offering both powerful stills and advanced video capabilities.

Performance and Imaging

The EOS R6 Mark III features a newly developed 32.5-megapixel sensor, previously introduced in the Canon EOS C50 cinema camera. Paired with the DIGIC X processor, it can shoot continuously at up to 40 frames per second with the electronic shutter and 12 fps with the mechanical shutter. When using CFexpress cards, the buffer allows for up to 150 RAW images. The system supports up to 8.5 stops of image stabilization when combining in-body and lens stabilization.
