A spokesperson for Turning Point USA falsely alleged that teachers at an Arizona high school's math department wore Halloween costumes mocking Charlie Kirk, leading to a surge of online harassment and death threats against the staff.

On Friday, members of the Cienega High School math department wore matching white T-shirts splattered with red stains and the phrase “Problem Solved” printed in black. A photo of the group was shared on the Vail School District's official Facebook page.
John Carruth, the district superintendent, stated that no complaints from students or parents about the costumes were received during the school day.

On Saturday, Andrew Kolvet, former executive producer of Charlie Kirk’s show, posted the photo on X, claiming:
“Concerned parents just sent us this image of what's believed to be teachers in [Vail School District] mocking Charlie's murder. They deserve to be famous, and fired.”
Kolvet suggested the T-shirts resembled the “Freedom” shirts Kirk was wearing when he was assassinated at Utah Valley University in September.
