The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking is implementing extensive changes to its bus network starting November 1. The updates include new routes, route rationalisations, cancellations of certain segments, and the introduction of air-conditioned services on several routes to boost passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
Route A-101 will connect the World Trade Center with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, passing through important locations like G D Somani Road, President Hotel, Colaba, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, and Madame Cama Road. It will run six days a week from Monday to Saturday.
The return route will serve stops including Hutatma Chowk, Veer Nariman Road, and Churchgate, enhancing connectivity in south Mumbai.
BEST is upgrading multiple routes to air-conditioned buses to provide a more comfortable ride for commuters.
