Elder Gérald Caussé Joins Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

Elder Gérald Caussé has been called as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is originally from Bordeaux, France and is 62 years old.

Previous Church Service

Before this calling, Elder Caussé served for eleven years as the Presiding Bishop of the Church. He also served as a General Authority from 2008 to 2012, first in Germany and later in the United States.

Family

Elder Caussé and his wife, Valérie, have been married for 30 years and have five children.
