Italian public transport operator Seta has become the first to implement Conduent’s new-generation DOT1 ticket vending system. The installation spans the central provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Piacenza, marking a major step toward the full digitalisation of Seta’s ticketing operations.
The DOT1 vending machine represents a compact and intelligent kiosk built around a multimedia platform. It delivers an intuitive, accessible interface designed for flexible ticketing deployment and service expansion.
The platform enables Seta to offer bundled travel packages covering different modes of transportation and attractions such as museums. With its multimedia capabilities, operators can collaborate with local businesses, brands, and institutions to deliver targeted content and generate new revenue streams.
“The implementation marks a significant milestone in the digitalisation of Seta’s ticketing services for its 77 million passengers,” said Conduent.
Seta’s adoption of Conduent’s DOT1 system signals a pivotal move toward smarter, digital-first public transport, uniting real-time information, payment flexibility, and local partnership potential.
