Newcastle Jets have confirmed the re-signing of goalkeeper Ally Boertje for the 2025-26 Ninja A-League season. A Newcastle native, Ally joined the Jets ahead of the 2024-25 season after playing for New Lambton and Warners Bay in the NNSW NPL.
During the 2025 NSW NPL, Boertje played a key role for the Youth Team, making 14 appearances.
“I’m very honoured to be a part of this club again, I loved every moment of the last season,” said Boertje. “With the Newcastle Jets being my home club, I am very excited to see what the team will bring to the table this season.”
“We are extremely happy to have Ally back with us for the upcoming season,” said Jets head coach Stephen Hoyle. “She’s a great character and a talented young goalkeeper. I believe that working with Claire Coelho and Anna Leat day in day out will help her make huge strides over the course of the season.”
Tickets for Round 2 of the Ninja A-League are available now.
Ally Boertje's return strengthens the Jets’ goalkeeper options with a promising talent eager to develop further.
