Sources: Inspired Joins LYON for the 2026 LCS Season
League of Legends Esports news from Sheep Esports reveals that Kacper “Inspired” Słoma will join LYON for the 2026 LCS season. The Polish jungler decided not to renew his contract with Flyquest but will remain in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) by signing with the Latin American organization.
Previously, Inspired had received offers to either return to Europe or stay in North America. LYON, Team Liquid, and Flyquest were among the top contenders, yet Inspired ultimately chose LYON.
LYON’s Ambitious Roster Moves
LYON made a strong effort to secure Inspired by offering the highest contract, making him one of the highest-paid players in the LCS in 2026. Their plans include building a competitive team roster featuring midlaner Kang “Saint” Sung-in.
Additionally, LYON aims to recruit a skilled and well-known AD Carry from South Korea to complete their lineup.
Offseason Changes
- LYON announced the departure of most of their 2025 roster.
- Head coach Gabriel "Khynm" Roussy and strategic coach Tobías "Pointless" Riscica, who led the team to championships in 2023 and 2024, have also left.
