The Stanningley Bypass will be closed overnight for maintenance works, leading to several bus diversions and temporary route changes across Leeds.
In nearby Bramley, Broadlea Hill, and Pudsey Road at Gamble Hill Drive will both be closed due to resurfacing and gas works, respectively. These closures will take place from Monday, December 1, to Friday, December 19, affecting local traffic routes.
Bus services 4, 4F, and several others operating through the affected areas will face diversions. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules before traveling, as alternative stops or extended routes may apply during the closure period.
Commuters are urged to allow extra travel time and stay informed through local transport updates while the maintenance work continues.
“We’re carrying out essential works to improve road safety and surface quality,” said a spokesperson from Leeds City Council. “We appreciate the public’s patience during this period.”
