Traffic diversions in Alandi for poll rally
Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police Traffic Department has announced a traffic diversion in Alandi on Monday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to a scheduled election rally. The measure aims to manage congestion and maintain public safety during the event.
According to the department, the diversion will impact several main roads leading to Alandi. Commuters have been advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays. Police officials have deployed additional personnel to guide traffic and assist motorists throughout the day.
A senior officer from the traffic department stated:
"We request the public’s cooperation and encourage travelers to plan their routes in advance to minimize inconvenience."
The changes are expected to ease movement for both attendees of the rally and daily commuters. Residents have also been notified in advance of possible disruptions and parking restrictions in designated areas near the rally site.
