TV Star's Daughter Emman Atienza Dies Aged 19 in LA
Influencer Emmanuelle "Emman" Atienza, the 19-year-old daughter of Filipino TV personality Kim Atienza, has died, her family announced.
Her mother, Felicia Atienza, shared the news on Instagram, saying:
"It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman. She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her."
Emman's mother also praised her daughter's authenticity and ability to make people feel seen and heard, especially regarding her journey with mental health.
According to Los Angeles County medical records, Atienza died at a home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with the cause of death listed as suicide.
Her mother asked others to honor Emman's memory by carrying forward the qualities she lived by, saying:
"To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life."
