Manx Telecom and JT Group Merger Announcement
Manx Telecom Group and Jersey Telecom Group have agreed to merge, creating the largest full-service telecoms provider across the Crown Dependencies.
The combined group will serve customers in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, and internationally, subject to regulatory approval.
The merger will be supported by CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of global private markets manager CVC, with plans for major investments in fibre, 5G, IoT, and managed digital services.
The CEOs of both companies said the merger is intended to strengthen service offerings and digital infrastructure.
