Connected Surveying via GeoCloud Drive
Hexagon's GeoCloud Drive is improving the data connection between surveyors and the office.
Stacey Surveying, founded in 2011 by Ash Stacey, has grown to a workforce of 11, focusing on cadastral surveying, including subdivisions and boundary realignments.
“We’re sometimes dealing with plans from the 1920s and ’30s,” says Robert Lo Pizzo, Survey Manager.
The company faces challenges, particularly with older suburbs, using historic survey information, such as old brick corners from houses built in the late 1800s as datum.
