Defense startup Pytho AI is launching out of stealth with a goal to significantly accelerate military mission planning, reducing the process from days to minutes.
Founded by former Marine human-intelligence officer Michael Mearn, Pytho AI seeks to transform the mission planning process for the Department of Defense. Mearn's experience in locating insurgents, IEDs, and gathering intel inspired the idea for the company after witnessing planners spend extensive time building mission plans.
War plans aren’t just for large-scale conflicts, but also for everyday operations such as disaster preparation and flight missions.
As a Top 20 Startup Battlefield finalist at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, Pytho AI will showcase its innovative technology. The startup's mission is to streamline mission planning, making it more efficient and effective for warfighters.
