Unveiling of the All-New Proton Saga and e.MAS 5
The all-new Proton Saga and e.MAS 5 were recently showcased without camouflage at a public event held in conjunction with the Asean Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Notable attendees included Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Chinese Premier Li Qiang, who viewed the cars with great interest. Other dignitaries present were Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Geely Holding Group chairman Eric Li Shufu, and Proton chairman Tan Sri Syed Faisal Albar.
According to Proton, the all-new Saga features the national automaker's Advanced Modular Architecture platform and is the first model to be fully designed, engineered, and validated by Malaysian talent with technical collaboration from Geely.
