Actress Elaine Hendrix, known for her role as Meredith Blake in the 1998 remake of Disney's The Parent Trap, has come a long way from her villainous character. In reality, Hendrix is an animal advocate and a proponent of plant-based living.
In The Parent Trap, Hendrix's character is referred to as "Cruella De Vil" by the twin daughters, Annie and Hallie, played by Lindsay Lohan. However, unlike the cruel cartoon character, Hendrix is a staunch supporter of animal welfare.
Her movie character may have earned comparison to the antagonist in the animated classic 101 Dalmatians, but the actress is a far cry from the cruel cartoon character.
