18ft Skiffs - Sixt Team Leads Spring Series
The Sixt 18ft skiff team is leading the Australian 18 Footers League’s 2025 Spring Championship on Sydney Harbour.
Pre-season preparation has significantly contributed to the team's early success, with skipper Jacob Marks, team manager and sheet hand Alex Marinelli, and Swedish sailor Rasmus Rosengren leading the series with four points.
After a close victory over Kirk Mitchell’s Vaikobi in Race 3, Sixt holds a five-point lead over the Lazarus Capital Partners team, consisting of Tom Cunich, Marc Chapon, and Tim Westwood.
The series has seen consistent performance from Sixt, despite an abandoned Race 1 due to strong winds.
