First Sighting of All-White Iberian Lynx in Spain
A 'mythical' all-white Iberian lynx, also known as a leucistic Iberian lynx, has been spotted for the first time in Spain.
The rare animal was seen in Jaén, Spain by photographer Angel Hidalgo on October 22nd.
It looks like a real-life Pokémon, if we are being honest.
Images and videos of the white Iberian lynx have been circulating, showcasing its unique appearance.
Although this is the first confirmed sighting, there have been legends of these cats for centuries.
The region of Jaén, where the lynx was spotted, is renowned for producing some of Europe’s finest olive oil.
