Newcastle's Christmas Lights Switch On Event
The countdown to Christmas begins as Newcastle's lights switch on event is returning, hosted by radio stars Steve Furnell and Karen Oxley.
Events will take place on Grainger Street on Thursday, November 6, starting at 6pm with activities such as songs, games, live music, and a special visit from Santa before the big reveal at 7pm.
As
Hits Radio 90s presenters, Steve and Karen, will host the Newcastle City Council event for a 13th consecutive year, the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Coun Henry Gallagher said:
Our city is a magical place, at Christmas more than ever, and we have some amazing things planned right across the festive season.
