Brave Donegal Woman Speaks Out
A Donegal woman, who was subjected to horrific incidents by her step-grandfather, has spoken out about her ordeal.
At Letterkenny Circuit Court, it was revealed that the man, who is married to the woman's grandmother, forced her to watch him perform sexual acts on himself while dressed in women's clothing.
The girl, who was between 9 and 10 years old, was warned that she had to keep the "secret" or some of her family members could be killed.
- The man gave her money and presents as a reward for staying silent.
- He told her she could go to jail if she told anyone.
The woman remains in "constant fear" due to the traumatic experience.
